Khichri Vegetable Pulao


NEW RECIPE ----KHICHRI VEGETABLE PULAO !!!

FOLLOW THE KHICHRI PULAO RECIPE BELOW -------
I MADE THIS RECIPE IN 2 PARTS

FIRST PART---PREPARE THE MIX VEGETABLES SEPARATELY
I just made the sabzi v basic but not cooked v well. U can cook any vegetable of your choice the common one.Baghar with common spices like zeera, methi , ajwaien and ginger garlic.
I used Tomatoes,potatoes,shredded cabbage,green peppers and peas.I wanted to use baigan or egg plant but they were out of my stock !! Once the sabzi is just basically done not fully cooked. Keep it seprately !!!

SECOND PART
NOW MAKE THE KHICHRI AS USUAL
I used 3 different lentils in this khichri.Moong,
masoor and sabit masoor.Take 2 cups of rice and 1 cup of these three mix daals.Mix together with rice washed and leave to soak for 1 hour.
Do your simple baghar for khichri in oil and onion slices and whole zeera and add your soaked khichri.First pour little water and mix khichri and little salt as well.Cook and add your sabzi mix altogether gently,Be careful when pouring water.Once evereything is mixed and start cooking now turn the heat on the lowest heat on dum. Give at least 20 mins to cook this khichri.
Just check your sabit masoor daal if its soft your khichri is done!!

Serve this khichri with raita and chutney or achar !
This is a whole some food both with lentils and vegetables with rice. Its different but v delicious to eat !! Always check your spices add your chillies according to your taste !!
