Spaghetti in Desi Style
DESI STYLE SPAGHETTI WITH SPICY VEGES !
U NEED FOR SABZI
Half small cabbage cut into fine slices
1 small green pepper cut into fine pieces or squares
1 or 2 tbsp of cooking oil
1/2 tsp rai seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp kalonji or onion seeds
1 pinch of Ajwaien seeds
1 small onion sliced
1 tbsp GG paste mixed
1/2 tsp haldi
1tsp bhuna zeera pwd
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp soya sauce
little bit of lemon juice optional
v little salt cause we are using other sour ingredients
250g--1/2 packet of spaghetti noodles from 500g
fresh green masala, corriandar and parsley
red chilli flakes for serving with hommous
DIRECTION
Take a pan drop oil when hot add all the dry seeds like zeera,kalonji,rai and ajwaien when starts popping add sliced onion. Fry tiil golden or lightly done,Now add GG paste mix for few seconds add all the cabbage and green pepper pieces.Keep mixing and add all the other spices like zeera pwd,haldi red chilli pwd if u r using.or bit of green chillies,salt.Cover and cook for 10 mins. on low heat.Dont use any water it will release its own.Now add vinegar and soya sauce and lemon juice .Mix well and keep covered for another 5 or 10 mins till its all done.
While you r cooking boil in bit of salty water your noodles with little cooking oil or olive oil is best.
Once done drain and keep for serving.
Now take a big platter and arrange like my picture here .Spread all the noodles in a circular or round in your serving dish and sabzi or vegetables in the centre.Serve with hommous on the top.It goes v well with noodles.Sprinkle with green masala and red chilli flakes.
Enjoy this with any meal v satisfying and tasty.
Tip--- U can use any good mix vegetables of your choice with chicken or on its own !!
